Watch: A sprint race including humor and fun between Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar

In several India vs. Pakistan games throughout the years, the animosity between Shoaib Akhtar and Harbhajan Singh on the pitch during their playing days is well documented. However, fans all over the world find the Indo-Pak team’s off-field camaraderie as co-commentators to be just as captivating.

Some of those moments can be seen in the most recent vlog that Shoaib Akhtar uploaded to his YouTube account. It has clips from the former Pakistani pacer’s time commentating at the ILT20, along with clips from Harbhajan, Wasim Akram, the former captain of Pakistan, and a few other people.

In one of those scenes, Akhtar and Harbhajan are seen competing against one another in a sprint race. In other video, they can be seen joking about in Punjabi with Akram. The one thing the three people who are from the Punjabi region on both sides of the border have in common, besides cricket, is language.
“Kher nahi bhajji ki. I can go at a faster pace than you can. You may see my retaliation,” Akhtar wrote on ‘X’ in a video preview.

Akhtar played 46 Tests, 163 ODIs, and 15 T20Is for Pakistan during a career blighted by injuries in the later stages. He claimed 178, 247, and 19 wickets in those matches, respectively.
With 417 wickets in 103 Tests, 269 wickets in 236 ODIs, and 25 wickets in 28 T20Is, Harbhajan is India’s second-most successful off-spinner.
