When RCB arrives in Chennai for their IPL 2024 opener against CSK, Virat Kohli is greeted like a king at the airport

Chennai: Late on Tuesday night, the players took a charter jet to Chennai after the star-studded RCB Unbox event. Even though Kohli arrived at the Chennai airport in the early hours of the morning, the supporters who had gathered there to see the former captain of the RCB treated him like a king. As soon as they caught sight of Kohli, the fans went absolutely crazy and began chanting “Kohli-Kohli.” RCB undoubtedly has a sizable fan following, something that not many clubs can claim.

Kohli was the centre of attention at the Bengaluru RCB Unbox event. Acknowledging that it was really incredible. After Smri Mandhana and her team won the WPL, Kohli showered them with adulation.

It was very incredible. We were watching when they won the World League. With the trophies, perhaps we can double it up, and that would be very wonderful, added Kohli.

“I’ve always wanted to experience the thrill of winning an IPL title. Being a member of the squad that takes home the trophy for the first time, I will be present. For the sake of the supporters and the team, I will do all in my power and expertise to make it happen,” he said.

On March 22, Kohli’s RCB will play CSK in what looks to be an exciting match.
