WWE SmackDown Results for March 16: Bayley Takes on Dakota Kai, Randy Orton Wins Against Grayson Waller, and The Rock Sings
On March 15, WWE Smackdown’s most recent broadcast provided viewers with the most recent action from FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. The Rock kicked off the evening by promising the audience what he would do to Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
The first official match of the live event between the LWO and Legado Del Fantasma took place after this. Grayson Waller and Randy Orton engaged in a one-on-one match after that. Following the second WrestleMania Six-Pack Challenge Ladder Match Qualifier of the evening, viewers saw Dragon Lee battle Santos Escobar. The night’s main event featured a match between WWE diva Bayley and Dakota Kai.

WrestleMania Six-Pack Challenge Ladder Match Qualification Match: Legado Del Fantasma vs. LWO
Berto and Del Toro exchanged first blows inside the ring to open the battle. Del Toro used a hurricanrana to gain early control before hitting his opponent with a Spanish fly. Following some back-and-forth, Legado del Fanstsma secured a pinfall victory when Berto threw Wilde to Angel, who caught him with the Alarm Clock.
Randy Orton vs Grayson Waller
The bout began with Waller taking a surprising turn on Orton. He pursued the Viper, but Orton used a few clotheslines to get the upper hand during a commercial break. Austin Theory removed Waller from the ring as soon as Orton made contact with the hanging DDT. Theory attempted to meddle once again but was met with a hanging DDT from the Viper. Waller attempted to capitalize on the circumstance, but Orton stopped him midflight with an RKO.
Santos Escobar against Dragon Lee
Lee attacked Escobar with a clothesline and then a hurricanrana just before the bell sounded. After that, Lee dropped a powerbomb and an enzuigiri on Escobar. Berto leaped onto the apron after seeing Lee crush his opponent, only to be leveled with a hurricanrana. Lee won the match when he entered the ring again and ran right into a Phantom Driver.
WrestleMania Six-Pack Challenge Ladder Match Qualifier: Pretty Deadly vs. New Catch Republic
Wilson locked up with Bate, and they started the action. Wilson brought in Prince, but Bate followed up with a vertical suplex before tagging in Dune. Later, Bate managed to get away and made a tag for Dunne as Pretty Deadly attempted to land the Spilt Milk. He took Prince down with a rebound clothesline and then used the Birming-Hammer to finish him out.
Dakota Kai vs. Bayley (with Damage CTRL)
Kai tumbled out of the ring to get away from Bayley, who lashed back with several right hands. When the fight moved back into the ring, Kai countered by using a diversion caused by Bayley’s running knee. Kai attempted a running kick after that but was hit with a powerbomb. When Asuka and Sane attempted to step in, Bayley leveled them. But Sky made a shot that caused Bayley to be disqualified.
