The process of democracy was explained to the students by voting through Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) on Friday at JKG International School located in two. After voting, the election of the student council and head boy and the head girl was conducted. The election results will be declared on August 14. A student of the school has prepared the EVM model. There were 16 candidates for the post of Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, and Deputy Head Girl for the school. In this election held in the school, 720 students from classes IV to XII cast their votes. Voting was conducted using EVM and ballot paper to explain the process of voting to the students. Through this election, the teachers explained the process of elections in the country to the children. Ink marks were also put on the nails of the students who cast their votes. School Principal Nidhi Gaur said that after voting, the result will now be declared on August 14. The elected representatives will be administered the oath on August 15. He told that a science student had prepared the model of EVM, through which voting was done.
