Following Ved Van, Noida will have three more theme parks that would depict the lives of Lord Ram and Astronomer Aryabhata

Noida: Three additional theme parks are set to open in the near future in Noida, after the tremendous and prosperous reception of its Ved Van Park in Sector 78. Regarding this, the Noida Authority said on Thursday that it has identified potential theme park locations in Sectors 112, 116, and 94, one of which would portray Lord Ram’s exile.

The theme park, which would be constructed on 32 acres at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore, will reflect different periods of Lord Ram’s 14-year exile, according to a report by TOI.

In addition, Sector 94 will see the construction of a Japanese park, while Sector 116 will see the construction of an “Arya Van,” a structure inspired by the life and achievements of mathematician Aryabhata.

Details of the park’s “Van Path,” or promenade that traces Lord Ram’s journey from Ayodhya to Lanka, including the narrative of exile, Sita’s kidnapping, the battle with Ravana, and their return trip from Lanka, were revealed by Noida authorities.

In addition, the park will be separated into areas with the names of Lanka, Kishkindha, and Panchvati. Additionally, medicinal plants will be housed in the park.

The Noida Authority has already engaged a consultant to create a design for the architectural planning; after the draft is complete, bids for the project will be released the following year.

One Aryabhata Park

Built for Rs 18 crore, this 12-acre park will be another tribute to Aryabhata. The park will have bridges, islands, streams, and waterfalls that are typical of traditional Japanese gardening. The park would span eight acres, and the administration plans to invest Rs 10 crore in it.

“Next year is when the construction on the three parks will begin. Similar to the Ved Van Park, once these parks are available to the public, we anticipate a sizable number of visitors,” said Vandana Tripathi, OSD Horticulture, Noida.

Every Bit of Veda Ban Park

The previously constructed Ved Van Park, which cost Rs 27 crore to build, offers a range of attractions including laser and sound displays, wall murals, and sculptures that depict passages from the four Vedic books: the Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda, and Atharva Veda. Weekend visitors to the park number over 10,000.
