In a single year, UP created 39 lakh jobs in MSME and industry, according to Cabinet Minister Nandi

Lucknow: According to Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta (Nandi) of the BJP-led Government, the MSME and Industries Department in Uttar Pradesh reported the creation of almost 39 lakh employment in the last year.

In response to questions on Tuesday from lawmakers Man Singh Yadav and Ashutosh Sinha, Minister Nandi said that as of September 30, there were more over 6 lakh MSMEs registered in Uttar Pradesh.

According to Nandi, as of September 30, there were over 6 lakh MSMEs registered in Uttar Pradesh, and between them, they employed 38,91,062 young people. Aside from this, the industries department has given 47,916 individuals job chances in 269 units.

In answer to a different query, Nandi said that at the Global Investors Summit, over 19,058 memorandums of understanding were signed, translating into investment offers valued at Rs 38.50 lakh billion.

He went on to say that the goal was to use investments totaling Rs 13 lakh crore to host a historic celebration. Investment plans totaling over Rs 7 lakh crore have been made for the bhoomi pujan in order to achieve this aim.
