India’s reputation abroad has changed during Modi’s nine years in power: Yogi

On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his excellent leadership in altering how the world views India while simultaneously holding the Pakistani government accountable for the appalling state of its own nation.

Yogi said in this regard that “Even the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are demanding freedom from Pakistan.”

The chief minister stated, “The nine years of Prime Minister Modi rule are unique in Indian history,” after officially opening and laying the cornerstone for 2,339 development projects worth Rs 1, 212 crore in Ambedkar Nagar. The Prime Minister eliminated Article 370, which was unimaginable to everyone else.

He said, “Everything has been done with tremendous sincerity, whether it is the improvement of India’s infrastructure, internal and foreign security, or the welfare programmes for the underprivileged to the general population.

India has transformed, and the chief minister emphasised how the outside world sees it. In times of crisis, the whole world now turns to India, and the prime minister now acts as a “sankatmochan” (trouble solver).

He said that infiltration had occurred in border zones nine years before, but not now. India now has the guts to conduct airstrikes and surgical strikes on hostile territory, even if someone dared to do so.

“Nine years ago, the nation was plagued by terrorism, extremism, Maoism, and Naxalism, which covered more than 115 districts. Today, it only exists in 3–4 districts. Ram Rajya’s vision will soon become reality since Naxalism and Maoism have been eradicated from Indian soil, according to him.

The CM also emphasised that India has overtaken the UK to take over as the world’s fifth-largest economy. Additionally, it is now in charge of the G20 nations.

The state minister made fun of Pakistan by claiming that although Prime Minister Narendra Modi has helped more than 80 crore people in India obtain free rations, people in the neighbouring nation still struggle to eat two meals a day. Pakistan is being penalised for its transgressions. While Pakistan is going hungry, India is on a new adventure, Yogi stated.

Regarding Kashi Vishwanath, Yogi said that although a beautiful Ram temple is now being built in Ayodhya, the holy city has recently developed into a big Dham. “Remember that the growth of Ayodhya would directly assist Ambedkar Nagar. This is in keeping with the history, he said.

The CM cited former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi when he asserted that just 15 cents of every rupee could go to the needy under the Congress’ tenure. In contrast, since money now flows directly into the accounts of the impoverished, there are no middlemen to steal from government programmes intended for them.
