Snake charmers in Uttar Pradesh unleash snakes on the Chambal Express, causing terror on board

When four snake charmers who were dissatisfied with the results of their on-board performances let the snakes into the compartment to frighten a few passengers they had been having a heated quarrel with, panic broke out aboard the Chambal Express in Uttar Pradesh late on Saturday night.

As people scrambled onto top beds, the event caused commotion in the general compartment for more than 30 minutes. According to a passenger, several people barricaded themselves in the bathroom to avoid any unwelcome interaction.

The snake charmer opened the lid of a basket, a snake emerged, and the performers began to play their gourd flute while it swayed, according to the audience.

After the act was over, they approached the audience and requested money.

The passenger remarked, “Some people gave the money, some people denied.” It is unclear how the snake charmers and a small group of customers who had refused to pay got into a physical altercation. The guy continued, scaring the living daylights out of the other passengers, “At one point, they abruptly unleashed the snakes in the cabin.

A passenger phoned the railroad control center after the event.

The Government Railway Police officer in charge at Mahoba station, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, said they were informed that snakes were unleashed inside the compartment.

Nevertheless, the snake charmers managed to capture their reptiles and exit the train before it arrived at the Mahoba stop, which is located after Banda.

“The passengers at Mahoba Railway Station corroborated the occurrence when we talked with them. No passengers were bitten by snakes, but they did cause serious anxiety, according to Singh.

Security officers made a thorough investigation of the compartment and the ones nearby, but they were unable to find any snakes that the snake charmers had left behind.
