The Army Day Parade in 2024 will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

The capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, will host the forthcoming Army Day Parade in 2024 on January 15. According to Indian Army authorities, the decision to change locations is a part of their yearly strategy to host the event at various locations.

The Indian Army Day Parade used to be held annually at Delhi Cantonment, but as part of the government’s effort to move important events to other regions of the nation, Bengaluru was chosen as the first outside venue in January 2023.

“Lucknow will host the next Army Day Parade, which is scheduled on January 15, 2024. The Indian Army has planned to make sure that each of its six operational commands has the opportunity to host the parade after the event in Bengaluru. According to Army authorities, the event will be held periodically in different locations across all commands.

They said that the forthcoming event would take place in Central Command whereas the last event took place in the Southern Command region.

The authorities said that the goal of the action was to “increase public engagement, foster national unity, and showcase the might and discipline of the Indian Army to various audiences throughout the country.”

The rotation involves more than simply switching places; it also involves focusing on different commands, each of which is vital to the defense of the country. According to authorities, this is an opportunity to showcase the many cultural and geographic contexts in which our army works. According to organizers, arrangements are being made for the parade’s logistical elements, including the procession route, participating units, and any special attractions.
