Unsettling footage shows how a Saharanpur man uses a tractor to kill his brother in a land dispute
Uttar Pradesh News: In a horrifying event, a man in a hamlet in the Saharanpur region of Uttar Pradesh killed his brother with a tractor after the two got into a land dispute. The event reportedly happened in the district’s Tiwaya hamlet, and the startling deed was captured on a CCTV camera that was placed nearby.
The culprit, named Ramkumar, is shown in CCTV footage of the event that has gone viral on social media platforms, driving over his brother with a tractor when he is seen strolling next to a tiny wall in his home’s courtyard.
The video shows the victim, Omkumar (65), being crushed beneath the enormous wheels of a driving tractor that also destroys the brick wall in its aftermath.
While the victim’s wife, Pavitra, tries to rescue her husband, Ramkumar is seen on camera operating the tractor back and forth over his brother many times. It is stated that, in exchange for her efforts, Pavitra was struck in the head by the accused.
Omkumar was seriously hurt in the event and was taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition is now severe. In an attempt to rescue her husband, his wife also suffered injuries; the police report that she is now undergoing medical care.
According to a top police officer, the two brothers got into an altercation because of a disagreement about ancestral property that got out of hand.
The victim and his wife were hurt when the accused, Ramkumar, upset over this, drove over his younger brother with a tractor, according to the official.
Based on a complaint submitted by the victim’s son, a case has been opened against Ramkumar, according to the police, who also said that further investigation is being conducted.
