Astonished guests watch as a Bristol couple skips their own wedding reception

Everyone has heard of a few incidents that not only astound those around us but also leave them wondering how anything like this could ever occur. One such instance that has come to light is the bride and groom surprising their guests by skipping their wedding reception.

A wedding is a social event that brings together the majority of family and friends to commemorate a moment of love and commitment. It includes people’s time and money, in addition to their physical presence. But just picture your dismay when, as a wedding guest, you arrange for everything to work so you can attend a party, and the bride and groom abruptly leave for their ceremony. A lady has made a noteworthy post on Reddit, sharing her story of complete humiliation when her brother left his wedding reception without telling anybody.

The sister of the groom recounted the whole event and said that nobody knew that the couple had planned anything similar, with the exception of one of their acquaintances. The acquaintance of the couple informed the guests that the newlyweds had departed for their honeymoon just as her brother and his wife were about to be presented to everyone.

“No one even knew they were going to do it except for one of their friends so it was a complete surprise and embarrassing, to be honest,” she added after describing the event, according to Mirror.

When their acquaintance revealed their plan, the couple was on route to Bristol Airport, ready to go on their honeymoon. The sister went on, “We were obviously embarrassed.” My brother and his wife were not responding, so my parents became irate and spoke with the buddy. In a few months, they were meant to go on their honeymoon. Two weeks ago, they decided against it and went on to another honeymoon.

The sister of the groom also revealed that her other brother and his partner are going to become parents. The single couple was going to reveal their wedding date during the reception ceremony.
