The food entrepreneur said that his daughter’s love for momos served as inspiration for him to develop the momo omelette. People on social media are not thrilled and have criticized the street food seller for destroying the popular delicacy.

The vendor, who is well-known for mixing a variety of foods into her omelets, starts out in the video by cooking premade momos in butter. When they are done, he takes them out of the pan and adds the omelette mixture, veggies, and seasonings. He explains, rather surprisingly, that the concoction, which his father initially created, comprises 15–18 different types of spices. The omelette is then topped with the fried momos, and he turns it to fry the other side.
