UP Board 10th Result 2024: Pass Percentage Slightly Drops; Exam Leader Prachi Nigam

The declaration of the 2024 Uttar Pradesh High School or Class 10 examination results has been announced. The proclamation took place through a press conference at the UPMSP headquarters in Prayagraj. Accompanying the revelation of the UP Board 10th Result 2024, the UP board has also disseminated particulars such as the high achievers list, the rate of success, and the rate of success stratified by gender. The success rate of the UP class 10 exam 2024 stands at 89.55%, exhibiting a marginal reduction in comparison to the preceding year. In the year 2023, a total of 89.79% of the students successfully completed the UP Board 10th exam, while in 2022, the pass rate was recorded at 88.18%.

Prachi Nigam has attained the top position with a score of 591 marks, closely followed by Deepika Sonkar securing 590 marks at the second position; Navika Singh, Swati Singh, and Dipanshi Singh Sengar secured the third position with 588 marks. Once more, girls have demonstrated superior performance to boys. The pass percentage among girls this year is 93.40%, whereas among boys, it stands at 86.05%.

Students have the provision to review their scorecards on the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in. To access their results, students are required to input their roll number and date of birth on the official webpage.

To qualify the UP Class 10 exam, a minimum threshold of 33 per cent is obligatory. Those who fail to meet this criterion may apply for a supplementary examination. The schedule for the supplementary examination will be communicated in due course.

This year’s state board Class 10th annual examinations were administered by the UPMSP from February 22 to March 9. The UP Board Class 10 examinations were conducted in two sessions. The first session commenced at 8:30 a.m. and concluded at 11:45 a.m., while the second session commenced at 2 p.m. and concluded at 5:15 p.m.

Each subject included in the UP Board Class 10 exam 2024 was assessed for 100 marks, with 70 marks allocated for theoretical aspects and 30 marks for practical and internal evaluations conducted by the institution. The grades from practical subjects will contribute to the final assessment.
