After CEO Mohan steps down, Byju’s founder Raveendran will assume control of the company’s day-to-day activities

NEW DELHI: The firm said on Monday that Byju Raveendran, the creator of Think and Learn, the edtech company that owns Byju’s brand, would take over day-to-day operations once CEO Arjun Mohan leaves. Three distinct sections have been established by the company: test prep, online courses and tuition centres, and the learning app. This represents a major reorganisation of the firm.Under the direction of departing BYJU’s India CEO, Arjun Mohan, a comprehensive seven-month operational evaluation and cost optimisation effort preceded the adjustments.

According to the corporation, Byju Raveendran will also be leading the day-to-day operations of the business more actively in this new phase.
During this pivotal time, Mohan will take on an external advisory position and provide his wealth of edTech knowledge to the firm and its founders. Raveendran has spent the last four years concentrating mostly on strategic tasks like securing funding and promoting international growth.

“With this new organisational structure and the return of Byju Raveendran as the operational leader, BYJU’s is now well-positioned to begin its next chapter of innovation-led growth by launching at scale its new suite of AI-first products that have already received overwhelmingly positive feedback in the pilot phase,” the statement continued.
