Apple Will Reveal Its OLED iPad Pro Portfolio in May: Significant Updates Anticipated

According to a story from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is getting ready to launch a new series of iPads, including OLED iPad Pro devices outfitted with the newest M3 processor. In addition, Apple is going to introduce a bigger iPad Air model that will have a 12.9-inch display for the first time.

Gurman’s sources claim that Apple’s proprietary M3 processor will be included in the next iPad Pro models, coupled with an upgraded Magic Keyboard that has a bigger touchpad. Rumor has it that the iPad Air, which will come in a conventional 10.9-inch dimension as well as a bigger 12.9-inch model, will run on the previous generation M2 CPU. Interestingly, the M2 processors found in the latest iPad Pro devices are different from the M1 chip found in the iPad Air.

According to Bloomberg, Apple had originally planned to release these new gadgets by the end of March or early April, but more time was required to complete the software. Should Apple carry out the intended release in May, it would come out before of the June 10th WWDC 2024 event. This much-awaited iPad update is Apple’s first major redesign in over two years, and it portends future advancements and improvements to the iPad family.
