Samsung adds fitness and health features to TVs: Every little detail

Samsung’s integration of smart technologies into its TVs has brought a fresh perspective on health and fitness. According to a SamMobile report, the firm added several health features to the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic software updates.
Three significant changes are included in the update, which raises the firmware versions of the Watch 4 to R860XXU1HXB7 and the Watch 4 Classic to R870XXU1HXB7.

Prior to that, however, there was a security patch for March 2024 that fixed a number of security flaws.
The integration of health and fitness functions with Samsung TVs and smart monitors that were introduced in 2024 is, nonetheless, the most noteworthy improvement. Users can now effortlessly show their fitness statistics on the big screen by pairing their Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic with these compatible devices. This integration demonstrates Samsung’s dedication to using its ecosystem to support comprehensive health management in addition to providing a more engaging exercise experience.
Additional attributes and enhancements
The update makes these two smartwatches even more stable so that they operate smoothly overall across a range of features and apps.
Note that Samsung intends to progressively push out the upgrade to other areas over the next several weeks, but for now, the features are only available in the South Korean region.
For those who don’t know, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are the first smartwatches from Samsung that include the WearOS operating system underneath the One UI Watch customised user interface. They are now around two years old.
Additionally, these watches are still available at a much lower price. Currently, there is a deal on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Bluetooth edition, with prices as low as Rs 8,999.
