With the release of iOS 17 in 2023, this is the worst iPhone to use

Numerous iPhone models will get the new iOS 17 version later this year, according to confirmation from Apple. The iPhone 8, 8 Plus, iPhone X, and the original iPhone SE model are among the phones that have been specifically identified by the manufacturer as not receiving the latest iOS update.

Now, one model sticks out when you look at the list of iPhones that will get the iOS 17 upgrade and is likely to be the iPhone from the list that receives the new iOS 17 version the least favorably this year. We are referring to the iPhone Xr, which debuted in September 2018 with the iPhone XS lineup and was the first group of iPhones to get the iOS 17 update. Although the iPhone Xr had subpar specifications, it was marketed as an alternative for those who didn’t want to spend a lot of money on the iPhone XS or the XS Max.

People rushed to get the iPhone Xr when it was released since it was an affordable iPhone (by Apple’s standards), and it quickly became a runaway success. However, the iPhone Xr, which debuted with the iPhone X model a year earlier, has just one camera on the back and the first-generation broad notch by the time 2023 rolls around.

Although the latest iOS software is tuned to give the best results in the newest models, that’s just how Apple works. As a result, even though the iPhone Xr runs iOS 17, it is unlikely to receive the majority of the features that Apple announced during the WWDC 2023 keynote this month.
