According to the report, Bobbie Jean Carter overdosed on meth and fentanyl by mistake and died

Pop singer Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, died on December 23 at the age of 41.

According to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department’s original case summary report, Carter passed away from “intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine.” Her death was declared an accident.

The report states that Carter’s roommate discovered her unconscious on the restroom floor. She was last seen alive at 6:30 a.m. She was brought to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa while experiencing a cardiac arrest, and at 8:02 a.m., she was declared deceased.

Additionally, Carter’s mother Jane, who was named as her next of kin, corroborated in the report that Carter had a history of schizophrenia. In addition, Carter was taking a number of drugs for different ailments, such as quetiapine, omeprazole, clindamycin, and propranolol.

The death of Bobbie Jean Carter begs some questions.
The Carter family had experienced many catastrophes before to Carter’s death. Her sister Leslie died in 2012 at the age of 25, and her brother Aaron passed away in November 2022 at the age of 34. They had both battled mental health problems and drug misuse.

Carter was on probation for possessing cocaine when she was found in the toilet of her Florida home, according to the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Department. Her housemates said, however, that she had not taken narcotics since being released from jail in November, after serving around six weeks. Carter’s bedroom and bathroom had no evidence of drug use or paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

Bella, Carter’s 8-year-old daughter, was placed under guard by the police until her family from Orlando arrived. People reports that Bella is presently living with her aunt, who is the late father’s sister.

Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter expressed his sorrow over his sister’s passing in the first few days of January. He sent a sentimental statement along with an old picture of him and Bobbie Jean on social media.

“My family’s loss over the years, including our sister Bobbie Jean’s unexpected death, may take a lifetime to fully process,” Carter wrote. “I am utterly devastated.”

He also praised his followers for their love and support. We are once again reminded to treasure the time we have with the people we love and to remember that life is valuable and short. He wrote, “I know she is at peace with God at last.”

“BJ, I love you,” he said in closing.
