After 25 years, Arshad Warsi and his wife Maria Goretti officially register their marriage. “If You’re Devoted…,”

For twenty-five years, Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti have had a happy marriage. The pair was married on February 14, 1999, which was Valentine’s Day. Arshad and Maria were together for a long period, although they never officially registered as married. On January 23, 2023, the pair was legally wed in a courtroom. Arshad recently shared his experience of getting married on Valentine’s Day and discussed why he decided to register his marriage in court after 25 years of being single.

In an interview with The Times of India, Arshad said, “We followed the law. If not, I believe that as partners, the only thing that counts is your commitment to one another.”

He went on, “It sounds so corny, so I hesitate to tell people when my wedding is. This embarrasses me and Maria equally! But it was never done on purpose. Maria’s parents desired a speedy marriage between us. After Lent, we were unable to, and I started to become busy at work. We didn’t squander a year, and because February 14 seemed like a reasonable date at the time, we decided to go ahead and do it. The scariest Valentine’s Day memory I have right now is the one when I got married.”

Regarding his professional life, Arshad Warsi most recently starred in the Jio Cinema-streaming web series “Asur 2.”

Together with Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, and Raveena Tandon, he will also feature in the film “Welcome To The Jungle.” During an interview with Hindustan Times, Arshad Warsi discussed the expectations of the ‘Welcome 3’ audience. “Welcome 3 has an unbelievable scope: the expense, the peak.
