At a fan’s request, Akshay Kumar calls SRK live

Shah Rukh Khan’s admirers often want to meet him or get a glimpse of him. They have done everything possible to get in touch with their favorite star, from waiting in line outside his Mumbai house to tweeting at him on X (previously Twitter). Recently, an old video that showed a fan asking Akshay Kumar to phone Shah Rukh Khan live on a comedy program has reappeared on Reddit.

The Kapil Sharma Show, presented by comedian Kapil Sharma, included guests Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, and Jackie Bhagnani. They were chatting with a lady in the crowd who later revealed herself to be a major Shah Rukh Khan fan. She said that while she had not met Shah Rukh, the actor was the reason she had originally traveled to Mumbai when Kapil questioned her about whether or not she had ever met the celebrity.

Then Kapil informed her that Jackie might grant her request. Following that, she persuaded Jackie and Akshay to phone Shah Rukh. Then Akshay suggested trying to phone Shah Rukh to see if he was available for a conversation. “Dekh lete hain phone karke, baat karke dekh lete hain agar aa jaata hai phone pe,” Akshay said.

Shah Rukh’s phone was turned off, however. She then asked Akshay to dial a different number to contact Shah Rukh. “Ek aur number hai,” Akshay retorted, “purana number hai.” She asked Akshay to phone Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan after his effort failed. Then the audience on the show burst out laughing. Both the crowd and online users praised Akshay for his kindness toward the admirer.

Akshay just unveiled the first image from his next movie Welcome 3 or Welcome To The Jungle. There is a sizable cast in the movie, including Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Sanjay Dutt, and Arshad Warsi. Mission Raniganj, a movie starring Parineeti Chopra and Akshay, will also include Akshay. This year’s October 6 release date for the movie is set.

Shah Rukh Khan is now basking in the glory of his very popular movie Jawan. On the first day of its release, the Atlee-directed movie immediately surpassed all other Hindi openers. Among others, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone all provide outstanding performances in the movie.
