The National Award-winning actor Suriya has always had a keen interest in Malayalam movies. In Malayalam, the title is Aadujeevitham. The Goat Life is another name for the movie. Based on a real story, the movie tells the story of a Malayali immigrant laborer who is kidnapped and forced to work as a goatherd on a remote Saudi Arabian farm. Amala Paul plays the female protagonist in the movie as well. AR Rahman, the master of cinematic music, composed the score. Under the auspices of Visual Romance Image Makers and Jet Media Productions, Blessy, Jimmy Jean Louis, and Steven Adams are the producers.

The film’s director, Prithviraj Sukumaran, recently said in a promotional interview that he would want to direct Suriya. He continued by saying that actor Suriya is the first person he thinks of when asked to cast someone from the Tamil film industry.
