‘Civil War’ by A24 has its India debut at Red Lorry Film Festival

The Red Lorry Film Festival, presented by BookMyShow, will commence with the political thriller Civil War. Known for his work on Ex Machina, acclaimed writer-director Alex Garland imagines a near-future dystopia in which the US has been shattered under the dictatorial authority of a three-term president (played by Nick Offerman). The movie follows Kirsten Dunst’s character, a photographer who records democracy’s demise.

The movie, which is being distributed in India by PVR INOX Pictures, features an impressive cast that includes Stephen McKinley Henderson from “Dune,” Wagner Moura, who rose to fame for his leading role as Pablo Escobar in “Narcos,” and Oscar-winning actress Kirsten Dunst.
