Day 3 box office receipts for Lal Salaam: Rajinikanth’s sports drama reaches a new low and fails to reach Rs 10 crore

Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s latest film released to a mixed reception from critics and had a sluggish start at the box office. The sports drama is having trouble and has now reached a new low as its collections are dropping daily.

At the box office, the Rajinikanth film Lal Salaam had a poor opening day, earning Rs 3.55 crore. The movie’s box office receipts on the first Saturday decreased rather than increased, earning a meager Rs 3.25 crore. Based on early estimates by Sacnilk, the sports drama has made merely Rs 3 crore on its opening Sunday. The movie is obviously having trouble breaking even at the box office with Rs 10 crore.

The movie’s box office receipts cannot be compared to those of Rajinikanth’s earlier productions, such as Jailer. The sports drama hasn’t connected with viewers, and the effect is evident in the movie’s box office performance. As a result, a return for the movie is improbable.

Aishwarya remarked, “Directing Appa (father) was something I never expected in my life to start with, it was a blessing,” while discussing her role as Rajinikanth’s director in Lal Salaam. Working with him was like taking a tiny master lesson every day about how he conducts himself professionally and as an artist in the business on set. I believe that everyone in the business should take a lesson from his commitment, hard effort, and sincerity about their career—even at this age and stage of life. I believe that he is always teaching others around him new things. I believe the great thing about the circumstances we were in was that he still feels like he has a lot to learn. Like every other director who has collaborated with him, I treasure each and every minute. Appa leaves his mark on us not only as an entertainer but also as an actor and performer, especially in Lal Salaam.

Despite being billed as a sports drama and starring Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Lal Salaam has gained prominence mainly for its political undertones, which deal on subjects like caste oppression and religious prejudice. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth play the main roles in the movie, while Rajinikanth had a lengthy appearance as Moideen Bhai. The ensemble cast of “Lal Salaam,” which is produced by Lyca Productions, includes Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, and Vivek Prasanna in supporting parts. The legendary cricketer Kapil Dev also made a brief appearance.
