G-Eazy hinted of a partnership with Ananya Birla

The Oakland rapper G-Eazy recently revealed some interesting details regarding a potential musical meeting with singer-songwriter Ananya Birla in an interview with a magazine. Reminiscent of his time spent in Mumbai, the rapper—known off-stage as Gerald Gillum—made a suggestion regarding a possible partnership. The two musicians seemed to hang out, eat, and have a good time together. G-Eazy even said how much he loved Ananya’s songs. They have a tune in the works, he said with a nonchalant drop of the bombshell.

It’s interesting to note that fans have been anticipating this partnership since 2020, when reports first surfaced. Ananya teased, “One thing I’ve always said is that I like my boots to be bigger than my back,” when the Times of India questioned her about the highly awaited song. You people will be aware of it when it occurs, you know. I’m quite enthusiastic about what is ahead.

Playing it cool, G-Eazy and Ananya are keeping their fans excitedly waiting for the release date of their highly anticipated joint project.

For those who don’t know, G-Eazy has experienced success before. This American rapper and record producer started out in the streets of Oakland, California, in 2006. Following the release of two independent studio albums, he gained notoriety in 2014 with the release of his third album, “These Things Happen,” which shot to the top of the US Billboard 200 list. The album’s breakthrough song, “I Mean It,” starring Remo, became a Billboard Hot 100 success and was certified triple platinum.

G-Eazy continued his winning ways in 2015 as his fourth album, “When It’s Dark Out,” went gold. The album included the blockbuster hit song “Me, Myself & I,” which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and featured Bebe Rexha. With a resume like that, it makes sense that fans are excitedly anticipating his next move, particularly in light of the intriguing possibility of an impending partnership with the gifted Ananya Birla.
