Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Simone Ashley will star in the romantic comedy “Picture This”
A new romantic comedy film called “Picture This” has “Bridgerton” actress Simone Ashley and actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the lead roles.
The recently released Australian film “Five Blind Dates” serves as the inspiration for the UK original film, which will be directed by Prarthana Mohan, of “The Miseducation of Bindu” fame.
Along with Luke Fetherston, Nikesh Patel, Adil Ray, Sindhu Vee, Anoushka Chadha, Kulvinder Ghir, and Phil Dunster, star of “Ted Lasso,” Phil Dunster will also be in the film.
“A spiritual guru at Sonal’s engagement party predicts Pia will find the love of her life among the next five dates she goes on, as her sister Sonal (Chadha) gets ready for her wedding and her mother Laxmi (Vee) implores the stubbornly independent Pia to get married. The official synopsis said, “As her family steps in and sets her up on a string of increasingly desperate blind dates, Pia embarks on a hilarious but sincere quest for true love.”
The original Australian film screenplay, authored by Shaung Hu and Nathan Ramos-Park, was adapted by Nikita Lalwani.
