Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner argue over where to hold the divorce proceedings

According to reports, singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner are having trouble deciding where to hold their divorce procedures.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six column, the musician, 34, and Sophie, 27, who just announced their separation, are now at odds over where to hold their divorce procedures. This is according to aceshowbiz.com.

While Sophie wants the lawsuit to be tried in her home England, Joe wants it to be heard in the US.

In the end, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wants to bring up their two kids, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, in the UK. The location of the divorce proceedings will now be determined during a hearing on December 11.

Sophie filed a lawsuit against her separated husband earlier this month, claiming that he has been preventing her from moving their two children to the UK. Joe retorted that he was only following a Florida court order.

Following several interactions with Sophie, Joe started divorce procedures in Florida, which is the proper jurisdiction for the case, according to a statement from his counsel. Joe’s intention to divorce was known to Sophie. A Florida court has previously issued a ruling preventing both parents from moving the kids. This order was delivered to Sophie on September 6, 2023, which was more than two weeks ago.

The person said, “Joe and Sophie had a friendly encounter this past Sunday in New York, when Sophie came to New York to be with the kids.

“Since that encounter, they have been with her. Joe left the meeting with the notion that they had agreed to cooperate in order to establish a harmonious co-parenting arrangement.
