Madonna claims that her continued life following a health crisis this year is a “miracle.”

According to Madonna, she “had to almost die” in order to have her six children “in one room” together. The 65-year-old recounted how, after her health crisis, she woke up in the hospital to find her kids “scared.” She ended up in critical care throughout the summer.

Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 17, and the twins Stella and Estere, 11, are the children of Madonna. At thirty, her mother passed away from breast cancer.

During her performance at Barclays Center on Saturday night, December 16, Madonna reportedly said, “The fact that I’m here right now is the f—king miracle,” as reported by Page Six. The audience applauded.

The singer continued by expressing her gratitude to “Sibhan,” who “saved her life.” One very significant lady pulled me to the hospital. “I fainted on the floor of my bathroom and awoke in the intensive care unit,” she added.

A bacterial illness sent Madonna to the hospital in June. She spent many days in critical care due to the sickness, but she eventually made a comeback on Instagram and thanked her followers.

“The greatest medicine is the love of family and friends.” After leaving the hospital for a month, I can now reflect,” she wrote. “As a mother, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by your kids’ demands and the apparently never-ending giving. However, my kids truly came through for me when it counted. I discovered a hitherto unseen aspect of them. It was the deciding factor.”
