‘Pehle Hi Pata…’: Sandeep Reddy Vanga Responds To Ranbir Kapoor’s Best Actor Award

The first film that Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga collaborated on, Animal, has been a huge box office success. Last month, during an awards ceremony, Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor prize for his outstanding performance in Animal. Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently said that even though he did not win the Best Director prize, he previously knew that he would not. Also, he responded to Ranbir’s victory.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga stated, “Pehle hi pata tha,” in reference to Siddharth Kanan. I choose the squad and Ranbir. I was ecstatic. You are the winner of everything if the actor wins Best Actor. That is the result of my computation.

Ever since the theatrical release of his film Animal in December of last year, Ranbir Kapoor has been the talk of the town. His captivating on-screen persona and exceptional acting skills have left his admirers in awe.

Meanwhile, when Ranbir Kapoor went on to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt, his fans were pleasantly delighted. This is the director’s debut film with Kaushal, and it brings Bhansali and Kapoor back together after a 17-year break. On Wednesday, January 24, the new movie was revealed.

Although Sanjay Leela Bhansali will take a break from his distinctive period frames for this project, the film is supposedly a love tale. The movie is scheduled to open on Christmas Day of 2025. In development for Ranbir are also the Ramayana by Nitish Tiwari and the Brahmastra 2 and 3 by Ayan Mukerji. In addition, he’ll be appearing in Animal Park, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s follow-up to the smash blockbuster movie Animal.
