Ponniyin Selvan 1 wins Best Film at SIIMA 2023, while top acting awards go to Kamal Haasan, R Madhavan, Keerthy Suresh, and Trisha
On September 16, a star-studded event at the Duai World Trade Center in Dubai honored the greatest films and performances from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries as part of the 11th South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2023.
The two films that won the most awards in the Tamil film categories were the action thriller Vikram and the historical drama Ponniyin Selvan 1. The honors for Malayalam film were split among many titles, including Nna Thaan Case Kodu, Thallumaala, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, and Hridayam, among others.
