Speaking candidly about their falling out, Mukesh Chhabra admits to hurting Kriti Sanon, saying, “I lied about her and then…”

In a recent interview, well-known casting director Mukesh Chhabra candidly spoke about his regrets in life. He recounted lying about Kriti Sanon, whom he believes to be his sister, and disclosed his battle to make amends.

When asked whether he had any long-term regrets in life, Mukesh Chhabra admitted to have injured Kriti Sanon during an interview with Neelesh Mishra. “Kriti is like my sister; I love her as much as I love my real sister,” Mukesh said. I had lied to someone about her once. She was quite upset to hear about it. I have to spend several years fixing it.

A well-known casting director in Bollywood, Mukesh Chhabra has assisted with the casting of films such as Jawan, PK, and Gangs of Wasseypur. He tried his hand at directing with Dil Bechara, which starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role. Regrettably, the actor died before the movie was released. The crowd adored it when it was later posted on Disney+Hotstar, an over-the-top platform, during the epidemic. Recently, he oversaw the casting of Imtiaz Ali’s well-received film Amar Singh Chamkila.

In the meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is savoring the success of her most recent films, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, in which she costarred with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Crew received plaudits for the performances of its protagonists and went on to become the highest-opening women-led movie. She has just announced the opening of her own production company and the title of her first film, Do Patti. Producer Kriti Sanon and writer Kanika Dhillon are making their feature film debuts, and the actress will be starring with Kajol. There is a planned Netflix release date for the movie.

“Do Patti is a script that holds a very special place in my heart as it marks my debut as a Producer with my production house Blue Butterfly Films,” the actress stated, speaking about her first project. I like every facet of filmmaking, and I’ve always wished I could contribute more of my creativity to tales that resonate with me. And I had a gut feeling that I was ready to step up and take on more. As a producer, I’m thrilled to work with the very gifted Kanika Dhillon, and Netflix is the best partner we could have wished for on this incredible adventure. The incredible Kajol ma’am, with whom I’m pleased to be collaborating once again after almost eight years (since Dilwale), further bolsters the strength of our women. I am really excited for this journey to start!”
