The technical elements of shooting “The Vaccine War” are described by Vivek Agnihotri

The Vaccine War, the much anticipated bio-science movie from director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, is about to hit theaters.

The filmmaker went into great technical depth about the film’s production as well as some of its themes, one of which is really women’s empowerment.

The filmmaker of “The Kashmir Files” posted a behind-the-scenes video on social media, showcasing some of the methods he had used to produce the movie.

In order to make it seem as authentic as possible while maintaining the film’s emphasis, the clip shows a broader element of camerawork, including cleaning the frames, building the sets, and capturing genuine places and real-life documents.

Additionally, the director had said that polishing the whole production was of the utmost significance since there seems to be minimal CGI in the movie. This was a reference to the trailer’s relatively more elaborate and large-scale production.

Agnihotri commented on the technical features, saying, “This time we had a better budget and more star power, therefore it was simpler to create a more finished design. Better camera work allowed us to get more information, but we still had to talk to a lot of individuals.

Aside from that, he added: “The phrase ‘bio-science’ itself was problematic since so many people don’t know what ‘virology’ means and are ready to condemn it. My goal was to raise awareness of the existence of bioscience among the general public.

Given its many scientific elements, “The Vaccine War” is a more technical movie than his last blockbuster movie.

As a result, the filmmaker had said in a YouTube interview: “We created the video in partnership with ICMR and even talked to members of IIT as well as reviewed papers from IIM. In partnership with IIM, we carried out a comprehensive national investigation to learn the truth about Covaxin’s production, including who created it and how. Nobody truly understood how the vaccine was made; while discussing it, individuals mainly mentioned biotech and serum.

At a period when the whole nation was blanketed in darkness and there was just a very stark bleakness, “my major goal was to learn how the formula was developed. As a result, I have referred to it as a “Bio-Science film” rather than a “history film” or anything else.

He said that one of the movie’s themes was really women’s empowerment. Speaking on this, he said: “We got to know everyone in the background while doing our study, and to our amazement, we discovered that the bulk of the developers in this whole vaccine project were virtually exclusively women. Although it wasn’t my aim, I felt the need to draw attention to this after learning this information.

The film “The Vaccine War,” which is set for release on September 28, 2023, is an homage to the medical community of scientists and practitioners that labored to produce vaccines during the height of the Covid-19 epidemic.
