Throwback to When Sonam Kapoor Said, “Ranbir Kapoor Isn’t Sexy At All”

In 2007, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor made a huge debut into Bollywood by starring alongside one another in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Saawariya.” Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji were both involved in this film project. The movie unfortunately suffered at the box office due to competition from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s “Om Shanti Om.”

For those who are unaware, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor reportedly had a short love relationship while working on the film “Saawariya.” But their alleged romance seems to have ended less than amicably. As a result, throughout the years, the “Aisha” actress has taken a few subtle jabs at Ranbir Kapoor.

She said in a Vogue interview: “Are girls swooning over him (Ranbir)? Really? In no way is Ranbir attractive. Ranbir is a mother’s son, and his mother trims his toenails.

Sonam said during her appearance on Karan Johar’s talk program “KWK” that Ranbir isn’t attractive until he strips. He needs hairstyling.

“Ranbir is a great friend,” she continued. But I’m not sure whether he’d make a good boyfriend. Sincerity be damned. He has strong family values and is very courteous. He is a truly wonderful man. Although I’ve known Ranbir my whole life, I don’t think Deepika did a very good job of holding onto him for so long as a lover.

On the job front, Sonam Kapoor most recently appeared in “Blind.” Shoma Makhija served as the director, and the movie debuted on JioCinema. Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey are also featured. On July 7, 2023, it made its OTT platform debut.

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is getting ready for the debut of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action thriller, Animal. The movie will debut on December 1, 2023, and stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri as well.
