When Janhvi’s acting career wasn’t going well, Sridevi said, “It would make me happier to see her married.”

In the most recent Koffee With Karan 8 episode, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were hosted by Karan Johar. The director mentioned Sridevi many times throughout the show, bringing up the interview whereby Sridevi said he didn’t want Janhvi Kapoor to play the role. In the 2017 interview that Karan was referencing, Sridevi expressed her disapproval of Janhvi’s acting profession and expressed her desire to see her daughter get married.

In a 2017 interview, Sridevi spoke candidly about Janhvi’s acting career with Mid-Day. “I wasn’t originally in favor of her doing the picture, but she insisted on doing it. It’s not an awful industry, in my opinion. This universe is an invention of mine. However, as a father, I would be more happy to see her get married. However, her happiness is more important, and Sridevi said, “I will be a proud mother if she succeeds as an actress.”

Even yet, Sridevi supported Janhvi’s choice of work and claimed to know “every detail of her (Jhanvi) career.” Sridevi said in the same interview that she and Janhvi are close friends. We resemble pals. Together, we are together all the time. Our daily activities are constantly focused on one another,” she said.

During her appearance on Koffee With Karan 8, Janhvi said that Khushi Kapoor would be a better match for the profession and that Sridevi was not supportive of her acting career.

February 2018 saw Sridevi’s passing. She was at the wedding of Arjun Marwah, the nephew of Boney Kapoor. She drowned unintentionally and died. Janhvi said to Karan Johar that she heard Khushi “wailing” in her room while discussing her passing on KWK. But the instant Khushi saw that Janhvi was “hauling and crying,” she stopped sobbing.

Regarding his professional life, Janhvi is working on a few projects. Among them are Devara with Jr. NTR and Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
