According to the Pentagon, the US shot down over 80 unmanned aerial vehicles and at least six ballistic missiles that Iran had aimed toward Israel. According to the US Central Command, this includes seven UAVs that were destroyed on the ground in Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen before they were launched, as well as a ballistic missile on its launching truck.

Iran claimed that the over 300 drone and missile strikes on Israel on April 1 were retaliation for the attack on its embassy in Syria. Israeli, US, and coalition troops knocked down almost all Iranian drones and missiles before they could reach their objectives.

According to the press release, US CENTCOM soldiers engaged and destroyed over 80 one-way attack uncrewed aerial vehicles (OWA UAV) and at least six ballistic missiles that were headed toward Israel from Iran and Yemen on Saturday and Sunday early. They were assisted in their efforts by US European Command warships.
