Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump prevail in their parties’ Ohio primaries

NEW DELHI: Days after taking first place in the primary for the third time in a row, Donald Trump has emerged victorious in the Republican presidential primary in Ohio.
Apart from Ohio, Trump is probably going to win the GOP primaries handily in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, and Kansas.

Additionally, President Joe Biden prevailed in the Democratic primary in Ohio, and it is anticipated that he will do so in every state with the exception of Florida, where Democrats decided to forego holding a primary in favour of giving Biden all 224 of their delegates.

In the meantime, Trump’s victories in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington State have put him ahead of the 1,215 delegates needed to secure the Republican nomination.
The former US President defeated rival Nikki Haley to win the Michigan Republican primary.
In the first four primary states where both candidates were listed—Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and eventually Michigan—Trump routinely beat Haley.
Furthermore, Trump won the Nevada caucuses, and in Nevada’s presidential primary, ‘none of these candidates’ was selected more often than Haley.
It coincides with four other criminal investigations against Trump, the first of which is focused on payments he made to a porn actress and is scheduled to start in New York City on March 25.
Based on their past performance in government, Trump and Biden portray each other as threats to the United States of America. The 77-year-old Trump characterises Biden as mentally unfit.
Both adversaries are concentrating on the approaching general election, focusing their efforts not only on primary states but also on competitive states.
The president has referred to his Republican opponent as a danger to democracy in light of his efforts to void the results of the 2020 election and his admiration for despotic foreign leaders.
