‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ will see Aamir Khan and Zoya Akhtar collaborate: Report

After nine years, Aamir Khan, who is presently filming “Sitare Zameen Par,” is allegedly planning to reunite with close friend and director Zoya Akhtar. For those who don’t know, Aamir provided the voice of Pluto, the dog who was a significant member of the family in the movie.

According to the most recent Pinkvilla news, Aamir Khan and Zoya Akhtar met recently to talk about a new movie. The insider claims that Zoya is investigating the idea of making a middle-aged lead character in a slice-of-life film.

It is anticipated that this movie would combine dramatic and emotional themes with humor, much like her earlier efforts. Zoya hasn’t finished turning the concept draft and plot idea into a screenplay format, even though they are ready.

The source went on to say that Aamir Khan has shown interest in the project and is thinking about working with Zoya Akhtar, especially because the role in the movie is appropriate for his age. Aamir, who has a reputation for being a perfectionist, would rather not commit to a film based only on the concept.

The ‘Dangal’ actor has asked Zoya to take the plot a step further and come back for a thorough telling. Furthermore, Aamir has urged Zoya to ask him or his group for advice if she runs into difficulties while writing.

Aamir is now in negotiations with Rajkumar Santoshi for both the biography on Ujjwal Nikam and a straight comedy.
