Days after her daughter turns twelve, US Army veteran and influencer Michelle Young, 34, takes her own life

Tragically, a prominent fitness influencer and US Army veteran committed herself a few days after her daughter turned twelve. Michelle Young, a 34-year-old staff sergeant, spent 16 years in the military. At around eighteen, she joined for the first time. She did two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

A few days before her suicide, Young sent a touching birthday greeting for her daughter on social media. She added, “Happy birthday to the sweetest girl I’ve ever known.” I love being your mother, it’s the finest thing in my life.

Young volunteered in crisis and trauma response during her leisure time. She also worked as a volunteer at a nearby homeless shelter for women and children.

Young said in one of her blogs that her desire to help others was sparked by the suicide of her own brother. She stated, in part, “That day changed my life forever, but it also created a passion for helping others that I don’t think I would have had if I hadn’t gone through the pain of losing him.”

Young has 108K followers on Instagram. She served as a model for sportswear designed specifically for female veterans. She would often speak out in favor of improved mental health care for veterans. We don’t know what caused her to commit herself.

Young and her kid were quite close; in fact, they recently dressed as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

In response to Young’s passing, a GoFundMe page was created. Michelle, an athlete and close friend, took her own life via suicide. Michelle was a trooper, a single mother, an incredible friend, and a lovely person who demonstrated that you never know what someone is going through or what problems they could be facing. The page says, “We will never be able to replace the voids in our hearts and we will always be left wondering why.

“Gracie, Michelle’s whole world, is her daughter, who has passed away. Nothing can take the place of her mother, but this is meant to support her daughter Gracie in any way that she can. It continues, “We know Michelle would appreciate us all watching out for her right now.
