The diagnosis of a rare kind of skin cancer has been revealed by US Twitch star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins

American Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins said that he was given a melanoma diagnosis, which is a kind of skin cancer. The 32-year-old gamer revealed his illness on Tuesday. He has over 19 million Twitch followers in addition to 6.6 million on X.

“All right, I want to inform everyone even though I’m still a little shocked. I visited a dermatologist a few weeks ago for an annual skin/mole check, which Jess had arranged for me ahead of time, Blevins wrote in the X post.

Blevins claimed that in order to ascertain if they had removed all of the malignant tissue around the melanoma, the medical professionals also performed a biopsy on a second dark spot next to the original mole. One in five Americans will have skin cancer at some point in their lives, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, making skin cancer the most frequent kind of cancer in the country.

Melanoma, which accounts for just 1% of all skin cancer incidences, was the diagnosis made for Blevins. however, is mostly responsible for the fatalities caused by skin cancer. The World Health Organization lists alcoholism, smoking, obesity, air pollution, physical inactivity, and a diet low in fruits and vegetables as major risk factors for cancer.
