Event of SVEEP in Shimla School

Today, instructors, professors, and students at the Government Senior Secondary School in Lakkar Bazar, Shimla, took part in a voter awareness drive. This time, the Election Literacy Club provided information about the accommodations provided for voters who are handicapped and older residents over the age of 85.

Suresh Kumar, the Shimla Urban constituency Nodal Officer, spoke with the kids on the need and significance of voting. “The program’s goal is to ensure public participation to strengthen democracy and to enroll all eligible young voters in the voter list,” he said.

Also, on this occasion, the pupils received knowledge on the upholding and advancing of democratic ideals. The pupils were given an oath to make sure their neighbors and relatives cast ballots in the next elections on this particular day.
