Lok Sabha Elections 2024: How to connect voter ID to Aadhaar

The dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections were just released by the Indian Election Commission. According to the commission, there will be seven stages to the polls, and the procedure will begin on April 19. Voters are now being requested to connect their voter ID to their Aadhaar card by the Election Commission.

Voter ID and Aadhaar card linking will help ensure that there are no fraudulent votes.

Additionally, connecting the two ID proofs will provide a seamless polling procedure.
Therefore, if you haven’t already connected your voter ID to your Aadhaar card, do it right now. In a few easy steps, you can connect the two identification documents. To connect your voter ID card with your Aadhaar card, follow the instructions below. * Visit https://www.nvsp.in/, the National Voter’s Service Portal’s (NVSP) official website.
* You must register by making an account on the NVSP site if you haven’t already. Just enter your credentials to log in if you already have an account. On the website, look for the “Aadhaar Seeding” option. Here is where you will start the process of connecting your voter ID to your Aadhaar card. Details like your Aadhaar number and EPIC number (Voter ID number) would need to be entered. Ensure that the data is entered accurately. An OTP (one-time password) will be issued to the cellphone number associated with your Aadhar card once you submit your data. On the NVSP site, enter this OTP to confirm your identity. After the OTP verification is finished, send in your request to connect your voter ID to your Aadhaar card. You will get a confirmation message after submitting the request, which will show that it was received and processed properly. After that, the Election Commission will confirm the information you submitted. Your voter ID will be connected to your Aadhaar card after the verification process is over.
