Application forms for CUET UG 2024 will be available soon, and this year’s exam will have certain changes

One of the most important tests in India is the Common University Entrance Test, or CUET. 28 lakh students applied to take the test the previous year. It is anticipated that there would be more applicants this year. Soon, the official CUET UG 2024 exam registration pages, cuet.samarth.ac.in and cuet.nta.nic.in, will open for business.

To be admitted to bachelor’s degree programs at various central universities, state universities, private universities, and institutions that are considered universities, one must pass the CUET UG. Delhi University, Lucknow University, Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, and other prestigious institutions are among those who recognize CUET UG results.

Candidates who pass the 12th grade may take the CUET UG. The test is scheduled for May 15–May 31 this year. It takes many days to perform this test due to the enormous number of candidates. The test is seeing a lot of changes this year.

CUET UG 2024: THIS YEAR’S EXAM WILL CHANGE — There will be a mixed format for the test. This will enable applicants from remote places to take the test in close proximity to their homes. Every day, there will be three shifts for the CUET UG exam: 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 5.30 pm.

— This year, OMR sheets will be used in lieu of computer-based tests (CBT) for the topics in which more students will be enrolled. Moreover, a large number of colleges, universities, and other educational facilities will serve as test sites for UGC. Those who apply from distant and rural locations will profit from this.

Candidates for the CUET last year had the option of selecting ten topics. However, applicants will only be allowed to choose six topics this year. The majority of applicants, according to NTA, did not choose all ten alternatives. The selection of testing locations will be made simpler by narrowing the subjects covered in test papers. There will be one general topic, two languages, and three domain subjects on these six exam papers.
