Students should work hard and concentrate on their education, advises Topper

In the HP School Education Board’s Class XII exams, Shaivya, a student from Government Senior Secondary School, Jasoor, in the Kangra district, won first place in the commerce stream. Shaivya’s family and her school were overcome with pride and delight when the board announced the results. Her instructors said that she has always been a diligent and focused student, living in the Pargana Panchayat of Nurpur.

Her mother stays at home while her father, Swapan Kumar, works for a private company. Shaivya, who received a 98 percent grade (490 out of 500), demonstrated that living in a remote place could never prevent someone from achieving their goals.

She attributed her accomplishment to her parents’ and instructors’ important support and advice, stating that her goal was to become a chartered accountant (CA), for which she would now apply to BCom Honours. “You should work hard and prioritize academics to achieve goals,” she stated in a message to the younger generation.
