The overall trophy is won by Rayat Bahra College in the 13th annual athletics competition

At Rayat Bahra Education City, the 13th Annual Athletics Meet 2024 was held, attracting athletes from every college on campus.

By earning the most medals in all of the contests, Rayat Bahra Engineering College took home the overall trophy, with Law College coming in second. Dimplepreet was named the best athlete among males, while Poonam was the best athlete among girls.

Extra The principal guest was Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba, with special guests including Assistant Commissioner Divya P. and SP Major Singh. Dr. Harinder Gill, the group’s joint campus director, greeted the visitors.

ADC Rahul Chaba remarked that, as the next generation is crucial to improving the nation, they should abstain from drug use when speaking to the kids. SP Sports should be a component of youths’ life, according to Major Singh. Along with football, volleyball, cricket, and tug-of-war, there were events for the 100, 200, 400, and 800-meter sprints, long jump, and shot put.

Amandeep Singh, an athlete and alumni, as well as renowned cyclist Balraj Chauhan, received particular recognition. Group Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that participation in sports is more important than winning or losing while presenting the trophy to the victorious squad. Dr. Chander Mohan, the campus director, concluded by thanking the visitors.
