Tomorrow is the first session of JEE Main 2024; review the dress code, what to bring, and the rules

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 1, which is set to take place from January 24 to February 1, 2024, is being prepared for by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam organizing authority has distributed the first session’s admit cards along with guidelines that applicants must follow while taking the test at the specified locations. Here’s a brief overview of the key directives and exam day procedures.

ITEMS TO BRING FOR THE 2024 JEE MAIN EXAM

Candidates must carry the following materials to the test center for the JEE Main test 2024:

The JEE Main admission card for 2024.

A legitimate picture ID evidence.

— A picture the size of a passport to be pasted on the attendance record.

— A self-declaration form, which may be downloaded from the NTA website and filled out by printing on an A4 page.

– An exam-specific ballpoint pen.

Dress Code for the 2024 JEE Main Exam

It is recommended that candidates observe the following dress code:

– Refrain from dressing in an excessive amount of pockets.

– Avoid putting on any jewelry at all.

It is advised that applicants wear something light and basic, such a blouse or kurti with leggings or trousers and a t-shirt.

JEE MAIN EXAM 2024: GUIDELINES FOR EXAM DAY

Candidates must arrive at the testing location well in advance, ideally two hours before the test begins. At least thirty minutes prior to the reporting time, all applicants must appear at the testing location.

The top of the rough page that is provided to candidates during the exam is where they should write their name and roll number. Before leaving the test room, all candidates need to make sure they return their admission cards and rough sheets to the invigilator.

Exam rooms will not accept unapproved objects of any kind, including smart watches, cell phones, or other electronic devices.

Diabetic students are permitted to bring fruits, sugar pills, and water in clear packages and bottles to the testing site. Sandwiches, chocolates, and candies in a bundle are not permitted, nevertheless.
