3 cleared in a case of cheating
Three defendants in a cheating case filed two years ago, including a builder, were found not guilty by a local court.
On February 1, 2022, PNB Housing Finance Ltd filed a complaint alleging that Radhey Soni, the director of M/S Soni Hi-Tech Builders Pvt in Kharar, Vijender, and Asha, had engaged in a criminal conspiracy and obtained a loan sanctioned for over Rs 1 crore after mortgaging the property. As a result, a FIR was filed against the three individuals.
The accused was said to have neglected to make the payment. Later, the business learned that there were more occupants in the mortgaged property.
The accused builder’s attorney, Sajjal Sharma, said that the business had filed a complaint without first passing a resolution and that there was no evidence proving the builder was involved in the case.
