A forest division receives one hundred firefighting kits

Keeping in mind the potential for summertime fire events in the district’s forest regions, Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal today gave the Una Forest Division one hundred firefighting kits.

The kits were given out by Lal to forest guards and firefighters from each of the five forest ranges that make up the Una Forest Division.

A total of Rs 3 lakh was given to the department for the purchase of the kits, which comprised a uniform, backpack, water bottle, and firefighting supplies, according to Divisional Forest Officer Sushil Rana. He went on to say that the kits will come in handy come summertime.
