A panel of the Vidhan Sabha reviews the work
A three-person Vidhan Sabha Committee went to the city to assess the state of development efforts across the board.
The committee, which was made up of MLAs Kuljit Singh Nagra, Neena Mittal, and Ajitpal Singh Kohli, went over the specific measures that were conducted in response to the instructions that were issued at the last meeting of the committee.
The committee members made site visits to several current development projects in Patiala city, including the Abowal Dairy Project, the Municipal Corporation’s Mid-Town Plaza, the AC Market parking, the canal-based water project, the elimination of encroachments, cleanliness, and solid waste management.
They solicited input about the need to raise municipal income and bury electricity lines inside the city. Other topics that were covered included accelerating development projects, roads, and sewers near markets.
