AAG blasts the head of the Andhra Pradesh Congress committee for reversing course on YSR in the FIR

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee head YS Sharmila came under fire from Additional Advocate General (AAG) Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy for reversing her earlier statements over the inclusion of YS Rajashekar Reddy’s name in FIRs submitted by the CBI. The quid pro quo charges and other financial violations brought against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were the subject of the FIRs.

In an interview with the media on Tuesday, the AAG harshly criticized Sharmila for her verbal evasion and questioned her about the reasons for her unfounded accusations against him and his brother, YS Jagan.

He said that even after clarifying several of Sharmila’s claims, she persisted in making them. “The TDP leader Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu and Congress MLA Shankara Rao wrote and filed multiple petitions with the High Court asking the CBI to include YS Rajashekhar Reddy’s name in the FIRs,” Ponnavolu said. He said that Sharmila deliberately singled him out for political advantage over her brother, YS Jagan.
