Accusations made against two snatching case suspects
Two guys are the subject of accusations brought by a local court in relation to a 2023 snatching case.
On the basis of a complaint filed by Chander Kanta, a resident of Chandigarh’s sector 45D, the police filed a case against suspects Sonu and Pawan Kumar. She said that the accused stole her cell phone on October 27 of last year.
Atul Sethi, the public prosecutor, pushed for the two accused people to be charged, but their attorney said his clients were wrongfully accused in the case.
Following the hearing of arguments, the court declared that there was a prima facie case against both accused for the offenses covered by Sections 379A, 411, and 34 of the IPC. The accused entered a not guilty plea and requested a trial in response.
Ten years of RI for a man
In a narcotics case that dated back two years, a local court sentenced a guy to ten years in prison and fined him Rs one lakh.
On January 1, 2022, 25 injections of pheniramine maleate (10 ML each), 35 injections of buprenorphine (2 ML each), and 2 kg of ganja were found on Dharam Raj in Mauli Jagran.
The prosecution has proven the case beyond a reasonable doubt, according to public prosecutor Sunil Dutt. Raj’s attorney claimed that his client had been wrongfully accused in this case.
