Amritpal and his aides die quickly at the Dibrugarh prison

Five Gursikhs visited Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh and nine other inmates at the Dibrugarh jail in Assam today, per the orders of Akal Takht.

After calling off their hunger strike, the prisoners drank “holy water” and “karah parshad,” which were delivered to them from the Golden Temple by delegation members.

The inmates at Dibrugarh jail, who are accused of violating their privacy by concealing surveillance cameras in their restrooms and barracks, have been on a hunger strike since February 16. They were charged under the National Security Act (NSA).

Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, a member of the SGPC, and additional head granthi Giani Malkiat Singh of Akal Takht were also in the delegation.
